Candle Care

 

All of our candles are handmade, so imperfections in appearance and scent may vary slightly.

 

Soy Wax:

At Maci Wax, we use an all-natural soy wax, manufactured from natural products with no paraffin. Soy Wax is non-toxic and has a cleaner burn with no toxins, carcinogens, or pollutants, so our candles are less likely to trigger allergies and are pet friendly. Soy wax candles will burn slower and longer than paraffin candles. 

 

Colored Candles:

Colored candles can create a white coating over time which is natural with soy wax.

 

Lighting Up:

Our decorative candles are intended for decorative use, however, if you choose to light up please do so on a suitable dish to catch the melting wax. 

 

When Burning:

Never leave unattended and please keep out of reach of pets and children. 

Always remember to blow your candle out when you leave the room.

 

Continued Use:

When not in use, place your candle away from direct sunlight and nearby heat sources.

Before you light the candle again, we recommend that you trim the wick, to ensure a consistent smoke-free flame.
